“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”

A Special Thanks To Meals on Wheels America
This year, the North Miami Foundation was grateful to receive one-time funding from Meals on Wheel America to provide food and supplies for the pets of 17 seniors served by our agency. It has become clear to us just how important pets are as companions and help to reduce loneliness. In one instance, we were able to help a client purchase supplies for a new puppy after having faced the loss of a long-time pet earlier this year.
